After the success of my first e-bike “Fat Commuter”, I embarked on a larger bike project where I designed and assembled an electric cargo bike.
My brief was to build a cargo bike that I could use for commuting, grocery runs and trail-care at the nearby national park. To prevent waste and save on costs I decided to build with the existing bike components I already owned such as the Ican fat bike wheel set and Bafang BBSHD motor and downtube battery kit from Luna Mate.

Head tube decal design
I couldn’t decide if I should engrave my FM badge design on the head tube or to find an existing badge from a classic old bike and use that instead.
